Daphne Greengrass, a seventh-year Slytherin student, is a Pureblood witch and the elder sister of Astoria Greengrass. Daphne has recently been admitted to the Dark Lord's ranks as an Apprentice Death Eater to be trained by Lucius Malfoy.

Early life

Daphne was born to Stephen and Andrea Greengrass on July 14, 1980; their first child. Her sister Astoria followed.

The Greengrass family are Pureblood witches and wizards, and are wealthy and influential within the wizarding world. Daphne is friends with Pansy Parkinson, and spends time with her at Hogwarts. She is also friends with Draco Malfoy- whom, much to her disdain, her (rather irritating) sister has her eye on.

Present day

Daphne was in love with Theodore Nott, and the two planned to be wed, though neither had told their parents this. Theo was killed in the Battle of Little Hangleton, and Daphne vowed revenge. She appealed to the Dark Lord, asking to begin training to become a Death Eater. He accepted, and she was assigned to train under Lucius Malfoy. She will be living with the remainder of the Death Eaters at Malfoy Manor.
