She attended Hogwarts and was in Slytherin House. She diowned Andromeda when she married Ted Tonks, and married Rodolphus Lestrange, a fellow pureblood. When Voldemort rose to power, she became a death eater. She was taught the dark arts by the Dark Lord himself.
After the Dark Lord's fall, she and her associates captured Aurors Frank and Alice Longbottom, using the Cruciatus Curse to drive them to insanity. She was captured and sentenced to life in Azkaban.
The present[]
After the Dark Lord's return, she escaped from Azkaban and rejoined Voldemort. She later participated in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, during which she killed her cousin Sirius Black. Bella spent Voldemort and Harry's battle pinned to the floor by a statue. She apparated away after the battle. She continued to serve the Dark Lord, which led her to fight for him in the Battle of Little Hangleton, where she was stunned by Andromeda and taken to Azkaban.
